24 weeks!

24 weeks today!

I know that we (hopefully) have a long way to go still - but 24 weeks seems to be a big milestone for the development of these babies, and I guess it's the point at which they have some chance of surviving outside the womb.

I plan on keeping them in a lot longer - but it is nice to know that we've reached a point where they could survive if they were to decide to come out early.

And I think Baby A is jumping for joy today - several times today I have simultaneously felt a thump at the very top of my belly, and a kick down by the cervix. So she/he is jumping or stretching or something.

hooray for reaching viability! But definitely hooray for keeping them in a lot longer! Sounds like you're doing great!

Congrats! I tried to watch an in the womb show on the National Geographic channel last night. It was about multiples and was talking about how their interactions with each other in the womb put them ahead of singletons. It was interesting but I kept falling asleep. I did manage to learn a few things though.

I think Baby A is just happy about hitting 24 weeks! It is such a cool feeling to know that they're active in there.

It is quite a relief everytime we hit one of these milestones - and this one is a biggie!

Here's hoping for at least 10 more non-eventful weeks of "cooking" your babies...

p.s. the fiber has worked wonders for me this morning...
