Done! 31 weeks, 6 days

The thank you cards are written. I did cheat and send emails to just a couple of my more digitally inclined friends - but the vast majority got hand written notes on my lovely personalized stationery. The last 12 are going in the mail today.

Other accomplishments:

birth plan - DONE!
washing all the baby stuff - DONE!
put together strollers, swing, travel crib (for downstairs), etc. - DONE!
pack hospital bag - DONE!

there's not much left to do now but wait.

oh, and buy car seats, find a nanny, sign up for the diaper service, update our wills, schedule one last mani/pedi appointment, get my hair cut, buy a diaper bag..... Ok, so I still have a few things to do. But I'm getting very, very close.

For a minute there I almost threw up! But in the end I'm glad to hear you still have a few things to do besides wait. I keep thinking because I still have so many things left to do I won't have to wait. That isn't working out for me.

You inspired me to get a few more things ready myself. After setting an end date today, I was suddenly hit with the realization that I have few of the things you mentioned prepared, so I at least bought a can of formula (just in case), a pack of newborn diapers, and some hospital-appropriate pyjama bottoms (nightshirts suck for breastfeeding). I'm even working on my own nanny/nighttime babycare issue tonight. So thanks!

Thanks for your comment, yes, we stayed at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, isn't it the best ever?!?

You are so organized!

So many people said with twins to do everything early, so I'm trying to get my butt in gear, but it's hard!

I'll be back to check in on you and the babies :-)

Ahhh, I knew you'd be ready! :) I'm getting there too...hard to believe there's just not much left to do at this point but wait. I'm thinking lots of good vibes for you and starting to await the news that the babes have arrived...

Isn't it amazing that we've made it this far already! We'll have our babies in our arms shortly. Even w/ the difficulties I've had in my pregnancy...it's truly flown by so quickly. It seems that you have everything in order and are pretty ready! I can't wait to find out what you're having. I hope the last few weeks are uneventful and you have a positive and wonderful birthing experience.
